I’m a writer and editor living in London.

I have been an editor and writer at the New Statesman magazine for several years, working across books and culture coverage. Elsewhere, I’ve written about books and arts for the New York Review of Books, the New York Times, the Guardian, and lots of other publications. I otherwise spend my precious time on earth solving crossword puzzles, swimming in my local lido and staring lovingly at my dog, Tub.
